How to make green things yummy!

Happy September!

What a glorious bout of weather to bring in the changing season! Wednesday night will be perfect for the first TBC workout of the fall session, we hope to see you there! Yoga classes start this week and next. Beginner Hatha this Thursday and Hatha on Monday of next week. Email or check the programs page for details!

The Wellness Weekend has been cancelled due to insufficient registration. Our sincere apologies to anyone who this has inconvenienced or disappointed.

Chocolate Pudding
serves 4

3 avocados
6 TBSP cocoa
1/4 cup honey (or to taste)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Sea salt

Puree the first 4 ingredients, then sprinkle with Sea salt before serving. It passed the kid test!

Kale chips

Wash and coarsely chop (so the pieces are like huge tortilla chip size) a bunch of kale, the really crinkly variety is nice, but any variety will do. Toss in a bit of olive oil and spread out on baking sheet. Sprinkle with whatever savory seasoning you like. I like salt and pepper with a bit of cumin, smoked paprika is yummy too! Bake at 300F for about 20 minutes for really crispy, less if you like it a bit less brittle. Excellent with a nice cold beer! Or not. Also passed the kid test with flying colours!
